I. Uses
This machine is used for flanging and interlocking the plastic water chamber with the side panel of an automotive radiator, ensuring that the plastic water chamber is tightly sealed to the side panel via a sealing gasket, thereby creating a hermetically sealed space.
There is a pneumatic pre-tightening device that securely presses the water chamber before flanging.
The primary motion of the flanging process is driven by the up-and-down movement of a cylinder, which in turn actuates the pressure plate. The operation can be performed in a continuous cycle, and the operator is responsible for loading and unloading the workpieces.
The cylinder pressure is adjustable to modify the flanging pressure, ensuring optimal sealing and clamping performance after flanging.
This machine consists of long-edge pressing and short-edge pressing, simultaneously performing pressing operations on both the long and short edges of the motherboard, with one workpiece being pressed at a time. The long and short edges are formed in a single pressing operation.
Equipped with an imported touch screen and PLC system, this device displays and sets operational parameters (such as step distance and forward speed), stores multiple tank parameters that can be recalled at any time, and is particularly well-suited for workpieces of various types.
Equipped with Japanese-imported servo motors and servo drives, the system drives and controls the ball screw mechanism for press-fitting and interlocking operations, enabling the press-fitting and interlocking mechanism to perform precise stepwise movements along linear guide rails. Two sets of press-fitting and interlocking mechanisms are arranged symmetrically, each capable of having its own independent motion program, making the system highly versatile.
In addition to performing the pressing and fitting operation, the press-fitting engagement mechanism can also perform actions such as avoidance and advancement based on the shape of the workpiece’s water chamber. Thanks to the use of an aluminum alloy cylinder, the mechanism has become lighter and more compact.
The mainboard support mold for the long-edge press-fit interlocking machine can be adjusted according to the width of the mainboard.
