The equipment features a dual-station configuration and consists of Station One and Station Two. Stations One and Two are each composed of two independent units. The difference between the two devices is as follows: Station 1 (for crimping the upper water chamber) features a workpiece feed-in and feed-out configuration, while Station 2 (for crimping the lower water chamber) allows the workpiece to be fed in and out either from the front or from the back. There is a temporary storage bin for workpieces behind it. Workstations 1 and 2 can operate independently or in coordinated mode, allowing simultaneous press-fitting of the core into both the upper and lower water chambers.
Workstation 1 and Workstation 2 are arranged either in parallel or in an L-shape.
Workstations No. 1 and No. 2 are each composed of a bed frame, a pre-compression device, a lateral adjustment mechanism, a long-side pressing device, a short-side pressing device, a core conveying device, a temporary product storage hopper, an electrical control system, and a pneumatic system, among other components. The equipment’s mechanical structure is easily adjustable, allowing it to be freely adapted to tanks of different sizes. The pre-compression device securely fastens the radiator body, sealing gasket, water chamber, and other components. The flanging device then bends down the peripheral claws of the main fins, sealing the water chamber and maintaining this state for a specified duration to ensure sufficient deformation of the main fins.
