This radiator performance test bench is designed for conducting heat-transfer performance tests on oil coolers used in automotive, tractor, and construction machinery engines (internal combustion engines). Based on the development trends and demands of internal combustion engines in various motor vehicles, this test bench employs rational design principles, advanced testing instruments and equipment, and more realistic testing methods to further enhance the testing standards for cooling systems. It is thus well-suited for performing performance tests on oil-cooling components of internal combustion engines in motor vehicles as well as for evaluating the actual operational performance of simulated cooling systems. The primary objective is to provide practical evidence for improving the efficiency of vehicle oil coolers and refining the design of oil coolers.

Main uses

1 Quality re-inspection:

The heat transfer performance of sampled or retested standardized products serves as the basis for analyzing and evaluating product quality.

2 Assess product design quality:

In new product development, heat transfer performance tests are conducted on prototypes. Based on the test results—such as the outlet temperatures of the cold and hot media, the pressure drop at the hot medium outlet, and the heat transfer rate—as well as calculations involving parameters like the heat transfer area (A)—the quality of the original design is evaluated.

Main performance indicators:

Technical requirements for control and measurement of the cooling water system:

1 Water flow rate: per hour 0 ~ 24 Cubic meter; oil flow rate: per hour 0 ~ 15 cubic meter;

2 Design test pressure: For an open water tank, the gauge pressure is zero.

3 Temperature control range: Room temperature ~ 95 °C;

4 • Measurement of oil flow: using a mass flow meter; measurement of water flow: using an electromagnetic flow meter.

5 Temperature difference: 0 ~ 15 °C;

6 Inlet and outlet pressure difference :0 ~ 300KPa

Technical requirements for oil system control and measurement:

1 , in 140 Volumetric flow rate at the time: 11# Oil: 0- ( 822.0442 kg × 15 m³/h )

14# Oil: 0 – (826.4611 kg/m³ × 15 m³/h);

2 Design test pressure: The tank gauge pressure is zero, and the pipeline pressure ≤ 3MPa

3 Temperature control range: ≤ 140 ℃; Temperature control accuracy ± 1℃

4 Temperature difference: 0 ~ 40 °C;

5 Inlet and outlet pressure difference :0 ~ 500KPa
