Overview

Principle of the experimental work
1 . Basic principles
As the air flow provided by the wind tunnel system passes through the heat exchanger, it undergoes a heat exchange with the hot fluid inside (the heat-transfer medium in the radiator component), thereby absorbing the heat released by the heat-transfer medium.
When the heat exchange process reaches the thermal equilibrium criteria, the measurement system automatically collects data on various physical quantities.
2 . Control of various physical quantities during the process
Lower level PLC The system automatically adjusts the motor speed and the opening of the bypass electric valve via closed-loop control, thereby achieving precise control over the flow rate of the thermal medium.
The power of the heating device is automatically adjusted by the power controller to maintain a constant medium temperature.
The wind tunnel speed control system automatically adjusts the fan speed to keep the wind speed stable within the range required by the test conditions.
3 . Data processing
Using the host computer, the various physical quantities collected during the above process are subjected to heat transfer calculations based on the principles and methods of heat transfer and thermodynamic calculations for heat exchangers, thereby determining the heat absorption and heat release rates and compiling the corresponding results, such as the heat transfer coefficients.
In performing the above calculations, to improve the accuracy of the air mass flow rate, the effects of factors such as atmospheric pressure and humidity are also taken into account when calculating air density and specific heat capacity of air.
The format of the data processing results complies with the requirements of relevant standards.
